We are a professional, friendly tree management business offering the highest standard of tree felling and tree pruning services across the UK.

In conjunction with the annual tree inspections annual tree pruning and hedge maintenance that can be arranged from the Formal yew hedges of large stately homes to hedge rows along woodland edges and garden margins. Tree thinning and felling also enable additional light in through the canopy allowing ground fauna and flora to exist in harmony with the mature trees and shrubs creating in some cases beautiful areas or glades within woodlands to be enjoyed as well as creating additional habitats for wild flowers and butterfly's.

Pruning on new establishing trees can also promote more even crowns and increase the probability of straighter stems increasing timber quality, as well as improving overall crown shape and density. Caught early in a young trees life this kind of treatment is less damaging and results in reduced scaring improves both shape and the overall appearance of the tree and woodland in general as well as promoting increase yield.

As well as small scale tree pruning/correction services we also offer a tree thinning and tree felling services within woodlands which help to improve woodland spacing, increase light levels into the woodland and can in certain cases help to improve the resistance of certain tree species to disease pathogens like Dothistroma needle blight (red band needle blight) which can spread very quickly within dense unthinned woodlands of larch and spruce plantations as the pathogen thrives in moist and humid conditions, which are severely reduced by good stand management, one of these being heavy thinning, reducing the changes of the decease taking hold. (NB whilst heavy thinning is still not a conclusive proven method of stopping Dothistroma from spreading continued experiments using this method have shown a marked improvement where these methods have been under taken follow the link for an update on this disease http://www.forestry.gov.uk/fr/INFD-6ZFDBT).
